Guiding you through a difficult time.

When someone you love dies, it can feel overwhelming to navigate the legal and emotional challenges ahead. This comprehensive guide is designed to provide step-by-step advice on handling the administrative tasks and personal decisions that follow.

Why this guide is essential

Just to be clear, I’m not a legal or financial expert. I’m just someone who’s been through it and wants to make things easier for others. In consultation with legal expert Greg Russo of Greg Russo Law Pty Ltd, a specialist in Wills and Estates Law in Victoria, this guide has been created to give you the clarity you need to take the next steps after a death. While this guide doesn't replace professional advice, it empowers you with key information to simplify the process. Our guide also comes with a downloadable checklist.

Thank you Catherine for MC'ing and introducing a great line up of speakers and guests at the first "Dying to Know" event hosted by the Mornington Peninsula Shire. The Dying to Know event contributes to the Shire's Positive Ageing Strategy Domain 9: Quality of Life and facilitates initial conversations around the ‘normalisation’ of dying, death and bereavement as part of everyday community life on the #MorningtonPeninsula.

The event was well received by the community and I look forward to continue more work on the Quality of Life domain for our community.
