Five Life Admin & End-of-Life Planning Tasks You Can Tick Off Today — Without Costing You a Cent

On Demand - Anytime & Online

Life Admin or End-of-life planning doesn’t have to be overwhelming, expensive, or left until it’s too late.

In this video, Catherine Ashton, founder of Critical Info, shares five simple, free tasks you can start today that will make life easier for you and bring peace of mind to your loved ones. Whether you want to get your life admin sorted, leave a meaningful legacy, or make sure your family isn’t left guessing, these steps are practical, quick, and completely free.

The Critical Info Planning Hour

Online

The Critical Info Planning Hour is a weekly, guided session where you set aside time to work on your Critical Info profile — alongside others, in a supportive and focused space.

It’s similar to a group journaling or co-working session, but instead of writing freely, you’ll be:

  • completing sections of your Critical Info Platform profile
  • documenting key information, wishes and details at your own pace
  • making steady progress without pressure or overwhelm

Catherine will be present to gently guide the session, answer general questions, and help you stay focused. There’s no expectation to share, speak, or finish anything in one sitting.

If you need a quick one-on-one check-in, a private breakout room will be available during the session. You can step away briefly, ask a question, and return to the group when you’re ready.

This is about showing up, setting aside the time, and doing the work together.

When

  • Thursdays | 7:00–8:00pm
  • Fridays | 11:00am–12:00pm

Who it’s for

  • Anyone who has been meaning to start or finish their Critical Info profile
  • Carers, planners, and people holding a lot for others
  • Those who benefit from quiet accountability and shared presence

What it’s not

  • Not a legal or financial advice session
  • Not a workshop or presentation
  • Not a space where you’re required to share personal details

Just one hour. One step. One safer future.

Critical Chat Tuesdays – Weekly Online Conversations

Online

Critical Chat Tuesdays are free, weekly online conversations hosted by Catherine Ashton, Founder of Critical Info, offering a safe and welcoming space to talk — or simply listen — about end-of-life planning, death, dying, grief, and preparedness.

These sessions are not about legal or financial advice, and they are not counselling. Instead, they provide gentle guidance, shared learning and an opportunity to understand what tools and support are available, at your own pace.

Critical Chat Tuesdays run throughout the year and are open to anyone interested in improving their confidence around planning, having important conversations, or supporting loved ones through uncertainty.

Helping the Everyday Hero in Your Home – National Campaign

Online

Critical Info has launched a national campaign, Helping the Everyday Hero in Your Home, focused on supporting carers so essential information is documented and shared — and families aren’t left in crisis.

Carers are often the ones quietly holding everything together, managing appointments, medications, paperwork and unspoken wishes. This campaign aims to provide practical planning support for carers and families who may not otherwise be able to access it, while also advocating for improved death literacy and preparedness across Australia.

The campaign includes multiple ways to get involved, including a public petition, community sponsorship opportunities, and a tax-deductible crowdfunding campaign through LIFTWomen, commencing 27 January 2026.

I would like my event to be listed under the event section.
